In 2007, Ridin' High was invited to particpate in the Big Rig Build-Off competition at the Mid American Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky. As a challenger, Ridin' High embraced classic designs and outfitted a 2007 Petebilt 379 with a wide variety of customized stainless steel accessories. The truck, owned by MC VanKampen Trucking, was aptly nicknamed "Retro Rod."
